Women's Clothes

Jeans...I don't like the ones made out of stretch material but I can't seem to find any 100% cotton jeans.  Jeans made out of stretch material fit too tight when you first put them on, and then stretch out and are too big by the end of the day.  They slide half-way down your backside every time you bend over, which means before, after, or both before and after you bend down, you have to pull them up.  Sometimes you have to pull them up even if you haven't had to bend over.  In order for stretch jeans to fit, they have to be too tight - it's strange how jeans can be too tight and too loose at the same time!?  It's like wearing a second skin!  Stretch jeans are not more comfortable than the non-stretch cotton jeans we used to have.  Friends tell me Oh you just need a belt but I feel like when my pants fit, I don't need a belt.  The denim is a thin type of material that clings to your skin and feels more like wearing pajama pants or tights.  They are also made too low-riding with too short of a stride.  Where can I find jeans that fit right that do not make me look much older than I am?  I personally think the synthetic material is cheaper to make the jeans with than cotton, and that's why it is so popular now.  I feel slighted by people who just buy whats in the store and deal with it, taking no concern as to whether or not they have a plumbers crack when they bend down in the grocery store.

Shirts are also an issue.  Like jeans, they are made out of a very thin material.  The material won't hold its shape when worn and is also hard to iron.  Thin material doesn't wear well and hangs in a way that looks slouchy.  It is hard to find shirts that aren't too low cut.  That only means I have to wear a shirt under it...IMO, if I buy, wash, and iron one shirt I shouldn't have to buy, wash, and iron another to wear under it.   Sometimes, even WITH a tank under it, the shirt is still somewhat see-through.

It's hard to find adult-style, quality clothing that doesn't look like something a retired-person would wear.  It's either a cheap, low cut, stretch shirt with adornments all over it, or a bright-flowery shell and jacket kin to those worn by the Golden Girls.

The traditional T-Shirt no longer exist in womens clothing.  Now they only sell the Tees which are made out of thin, tight, and stretchy material.  That's not what I want to wear when it is upwards of  90 degrees outside.  Since they're made out of thin stretchy material, I constantly find myself pulling the shirt tail down.  When paired with the thin stretchy jeans, this makes two actions that must be carried out after every bend-over or stoop-down:  pull the pants up, pull the shirt down - about every 15 minutes.

I'm not sure when this happened, but it seems at some point the style became for clothes to not fit.  Everything has too be extra long or extra cropped, skinny, boyfriend, slouchy, clunky, chunky....I just want clothes that fit.

I'm sure there have always been cheap clothes and high quality clothes, but it seems like high-quality clothes are becoming harder to find, even in large town with ample shopping.  There's no longer such thing as cheaply made clothes at a cheap price.  Cheaply made clothing has become the norm at the normal price.
